Veneshe® was established by Lori Blomstrom, a certified Italian plaster artisan trained in Italy and the United States, to specialize exclusively in applying decorative Venetian plaster finishes for discriminating homeowners and interior designers. In addition to our Italian and Venetian plaster contractor services, we're proud to offer Venetian Plaster training for applicators and homeowners interested in learning the art of Venetian plastering. We offer Venetian Plaster classes that range from an intense, one-day introductory how to Venetian plaster workshop, to advanced Venetian plaster training in Italy.

April in Tuscany...the ancient earth smells fresh and new as the sky turns vivid blue, flowers begin blooming and birds begin singing...and you are waking up in a storybook farm home nestled in the hills of Tuscany. There's no mistaking the terra cotta tiles and old wood beams on the ceiling, the heavy carved wooden furniture, the cool terra cotta tiles underfoot, the window shutters thrown wide open to the Tuscan sun. You are in Italy.
But this is no ordinary vacation, and you are not a tourist. You are here as an artisan, learning the art of Venetian plaster under the guidance of a master Venetian plaster artisan, working on a hands-on project with other students, and watching your work unfold under appreciative eyes of the locals. Your are seeing Tuscany from the inside, as a traveler among friends, welcomed into the homes and businesses of our friends, and getting a rare experience of life in Italy seldom afforded tourists. Each year, three to six students travel with us to Italy, for a week long immersion in art, Tuscany and Venetian plaster. Balancing Venetian plaster training with food, wine, and visiting the local spots and off-the-beaten path treasures of the Chianti region, our trips are unique and unforgettable art adventures for the plaster novice as much as they are professional Italian plaster training courses for experienced Italian plaster applicators.

We are happy to announce that we've been selected as designers for two upcoming Designer Showhouses this Spring. What makes Designer Showhouse projects so much fun is that they start with fascinating properties that are completely transformed over the course of a month by scores of the area's finest interior designers, landscapers and craftsmen. Empty spaces, often devoid of character but for their architectural value suddenly become warm, inviting, dramatic.
