Welcome to Veneshe!

(Easton, Pennsylvania)  Authentic Venetian Plaster will transform any room in your home or business into a one of a kind work of art, imparting a sensuality of texture and color that is impossible to achieve with paint or faux finishing. In contrast to faux painting and faux plasters, authentic Italian lime plaster is not only beautiful, but also one of the most "Green" eco-friendly and natural plaster wall finishes. All our Italian plasters are made from lime and natural aggregates, cured and processed in Italy, and colored on-site with natural earth pigments. Ranging from translucent, high gloss polished plaster surfaces that resemble marble, to rustic surfaces that resemble ancient and worn stucco, genuine Venetian plaster creates unique and highly sought-after plaster wall finishes that reflect the artist's technique, vision and mastery of the Venetian plaster art form. Take a moment to browse our Venetian Plaster portfolio and gallery of Venetian Plaster Finishes for a glimpse into this sought-after world of beauty.

VeneShe® was established by Lori Blomstrom, a certified Italian plaster artisan trained in Italy and the United States, to specialize exclusively in applying decorative Venetian plaster finishes for discriminating homeowners and interior designers.  In addition to our Italian plaster contracting services, we're proud to offer Venetian Plaster training for applicators and homeowners interested in learning the art of Venetian plastering. We offer Venetian Plaster classes that range from one day introductory workshops to advanced Venetian plaster training in Italy.

Whether you are a homeowner, interior designer, or person seeking Italian Plaster training in Italy or the US, I invite you to explore our site, envision the possibilities, and contact us today!

The Most Authentic Way to Learn How to Venetian Plaster

July 2010 -- Registration is open for Veneshe's fall Italian plaster training class, October 2-9, 2010 in Mondaino, a small mountain town not far from the seaside resort of Rimini.  Participants stay in a rustic farmhouse located outside of town, and travel to the nearby village of Saludecio to work on an Italian plaster  restoration project.  The daily morning training/working session is capped off with a multi-course, freshly prepared lunch at the farmhouse, complete with locally produced wine, and afternoons are free for enjoying the countryside.

From Home and Garden TV shows, to DIY clinics at home center super stores, Venetian Plaster DIY classes and synthetic plaster materials are more available than ever. But before you -- or your clients --fall for faux, consider that the alternative - genuine, all-natural Italian lime plasters and expert plastering techniques -- are immediately distinguishable by touch and appearance from their sometimes even more expensive decorative imposters.

Real lime plasters from Italy not only polish to a higher shine than synthetic plasters, they also offer a multitude of eco-friendly benefits and a lifetime finish that won't fade as will paint-based products. With hands-on training and experience, anyone can learn to master the basics or improve their skills. Veneshe Master Venetian Plastering teaches students to become proficient using FirmoLux imported Italian plasters, and gain mastery of techniques that can be applied to projects large and small--from simple home decorating to commercial and restoration projects.

Master Venetian plaster applicator Lori Blomstrom brings her talent, humor, and years of training and experience to create a class that is as much fun as it is educational and inspiring.  Veneshe's students have included painters, muralists, Italian plaster applicators, drywall contractors and homeowners, all of whom have left with a portfolio of samples and the confidence to undertake new projects, large and small. Both beginner and advanced classes are offered this summer in Pennsylvania.
