Lori Blomstrom began working in painting and light construction with her father Rudy 20 years ago, and founded ShePaintsEtc (www.shepaintsetc.com) in 1996 when she discovered there was a demand by women for women-run contracting services. But it was a trip to Tuscany in 2002 that ignited Lori's passion for Italian artistry, and eventually led to her training in the art of Italian decorative stuccos at the School of Italian Plasters, followed by advanced training and certification in Verona, Italy. Upon her return, she established Veneshe, dedicated to bringing the ancient beauty of authentic Venetian Plaster to the homes and businesses of discriminating clients.
"When I began applying Italian stuccos, a whole new world opened up for me personally and professionally, where artistry, client services and hands-on application brought a new level of inspiration and energy to my work," says Lori. "Veneshe is not just my Italian Plaster business; it is my passion, and working with my clients to create places of beauty and self expression my vocation."
